EcoMed proudly participates in celebrating World Kidney Day 2025! This year's campaign, “Are Your Kidneys OK? Detect early, protect kidney health,” focuses on early detection of kidney disease, emphasizing the importance of understanding risk factors, timely testing for at risk populations, and early intervention to prevent complications.

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is estimated to affect approximately 850 million
people worldwide. If left undetected and not treated timely, CKD can progress to kidney failure, leading to severe complications and premature mortality.
High risk factors for kidney disease include diabetes, hypertension, obesity,
cardiovascular disease, and family history of kidney disease.

Simple, non-invasive, and cost-effective tests are available, and individuals at high risk should undergo testing for early detection and timely treatment.

🏃 We give FREE monthly Panels as part of our RDU Packages, and so to make the most out of these panels, implement a sustainable exercise routine! 🧘‍♀️

Firstly, always consult your doctor before engaging in any strenuous exercise. Physical activity that amount to 40-90 minutes a week can be beneficial for dialysis patients, as exercising not only helps lower cholesterol levels and your weight, but it may also reduce anxiety and depression that occur among patients who have specialized medical needs.

Ensure you are getting the best care possible by following your treatment plan religiously and keeping to your treatment schedule.

With long treatment hours, we made sure we designed our Dialysis Center with your comfort in mind with oversized recliner chairs for our patients and a coffee shop within the facility for watchers who need to relax and reenergize.
