📌 The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) is implementing facial recognition and real-time verification systems to enhance transparency and reduce fraudulent claims.

“We’re using technology to speed up patient engagement, but we’re also mindful that not all Filipinos have access to gadgets. That’s why we also do caravans,” said PhilHealth Acting President and CEO Dr. Edwin M. Mercado during the Kapihan sa PIA media forum held Oct.11.

Job Description:

· Oversee and manage all operational activities in PCF, Dialysis and UniRx to ensure smooth and efficient business processes.
· Develop, implement, and optimize operational policies and procedures.
· Monitor performance metrics and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
· Lead and mentor team members to achieve high levels of performance and engagement.
· Coordinate with other departments (HR, Finance, Procurement, etc.) to ensure alignment and support for operational goals.
· Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and safety standards.
· Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality and service standards.
· Handle escalated operational issues and resolve conflicts effectively.
· Support organizational growth by recommending and implementing systems and technologies to enhance productivity.
