In view of the announced transport strike on March 27, 2026, all classes across all levels and academic programs will shift to a synchronous online mode.

Faculty members are requested to reschedule all student assessments and examinations to a later date and to inform their students accordingly.

All office staff and employees are required to report for work. Personnel who reside far from the school will be provided with transportation. Please coordinate with the Human Resources Office for scheduling and arrangements.

All International Medical Students (IMS) across all levels, including fourth-year students, are required to report to the campus for the International Student Day celebration. Attendance will be monitored.

Hospital operations will continue as usual.

NEW BIRTHING HOME BRINGS LIFE-SAVING CARE TO MARILOG’S INDIGENOUS COMMUNITY

A new chapter in community healthcare begins in the highlands of Davao. The Malikongkong Maternal and Child Birthing Home in Sitio Malikongkong, Marilog District was inaugurated on March 10, 2026, bringing vital maternal and child health services closer to indigenous families.

Developed through a partnership between the Davao Medical School Foundation, Inc., ChildFund Japan, and local partners funded by the Government of Japan, the facility will serve nearly 9,000 residents in eight sitios, helping ensure safer childbirth and accessible medical care for remote communities.
