Just a reminder.

Just like medical consultations, psychological assessments and consultations are decided by the person who needs help. We cannot force someone to get a consultation much more get a treatment if he or she is against it. Schedules should be requested willingly by the person involved. Respect the rights and decision of people.

Also dont ask the doctor information about the things discussed with the patient. Its up to the patient if he or she wants to share it to you. Respect confidentiality

Don’t panic regarding the overreported cases of walking pneumonia. Walking pneumonia or atypical pneumonia is common in the Philippines. Doctors and outpatient clinics have already been handling cases since it was discovered decades ago. Its not new. Treatment is also common, azithromycin and other macrolides. We have been prescribing it. We just dont focus on names in diagnosis. We simply say pneumonia to patients. Dont panic on these reports.

Hello to all and to some who have become friends. Magnitude 8 earthquake hit gensan at 4 pm today. Davao city also experienced strong earthquakes for a minute but most structures are intact.

We are ok but we are asking for prayers for those in Gensan especially for our brothers and sisters in faith.
