MGen Nolasco A Mempin, 10ID Commander, lauded the combined efforts of 10ID and 6ID personnel. He emphasized the importance of helping each other during trying times such as disasters and calamities.
"Our service to our fellow countrymen does not only limit to security. It is also our honor and pride as soldiers, to help in any way we could anytime, anywhere," Mempin added.
Meanwhile, Normia Vilo, a beneficiary from Brgy Pura, expressed her gratitude to the Army. "Nagpapasalamat po ako na kahit galing pa po sa malayo ang mga sundalo ay binigyan pa rin po nila kami ng tulong dito sa barangay namin," she said.
The LGUs of both barangays also conveyed their appreciation of the army's effort and were looking forward to the day when they could return to their normal lives.

IN PHOTOS: The Naval Forces Eastern Mindanao (NFEM) participated in the simultaneous Coastal Clean Up Drive, SCUBAsurero, and Mangrove Planting activities, spearheaded by the Unifrutti Tropical Philippines Inc. Davao City at Mangrove Protected Area, Brgy. Panacan, Davao City and Unifrutti Port, Brgy. Tibungco, Davao City on November 12, 2022.
Along with the other government and non-government organizations, the Command through 4th Boat Attack Division, Naval Special Operations Unit 7, Naval Reserve Center Eastern Mindanao, Naval Installation Facility Eastern Mindanao, Naval Supply Depot Davao, and Naval Intermediate Level Maintenance Station Davao actively participated in these series of activities as part of celebrating the National Environmental Awareness Month, National Clean Air Month, and National Climate Change Consciousness Week.
These environmental activities foster NFEM's advocacy on environmental protection and preservation. Moreover, participating in such activities also help promote and encourage fellow Filipinos to maintain the environment’s cleanliness and preserve our natural resources for our future generation.

The Department of Science and Technology XI in partnership with Kinasang'an Foundation Inc., Rise Against Hunger Philippines and the 27th Infantry Battalion hosted an IP community food distribution in Barangay Mapula, Paquibato District.
The activity was led by City Science Technology Director, Mr. Arnel Rodriguez and is under the Community Empowerment Thru Science and Technology (CEST) banner program of DOST which aims to deliver sustainable development to various communities nationwide through the provision of S&T interventions in Health and Nutrition among others.
