🫁World TB Day 2026 | March 24🫁

The Diadi Rural Health Unit, in partnership with the Provincial Integrated Health Office & the Provincial Government, celebrated World Tuberculosis Day at Barangay Namamparan, Diadi, Nueva Vizcaya.

Through our PuroKalusugan and X-Ray Caravan, we were able to provide essential health services to the community.

The TB Caravan: Free Chest X-Ray was successfully conducted at the Diadi Old Public Market under the leadership of our Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Maria Cristina L. Munar, together with the hardworking RHU staff and Barangay Health Workers (BHWs).

This activity was made possible through the joint efforts of the Philippine Business for Social Progress(PBSP) and the Department of Health.

Aside from free chest X-ray screening, the caravan also provided:
✅ HIV Counseling and Testing
✅ PPD Testing
✅ for GeneXpert Testing

Through this initiative, we continue to strengthen early detection, prevention, and immediate treatment of TB and HIV in our community.

Monitoring the sale and using fortified foodpacks and Vitamin A-enriched oil is conducted to all sari-sari store , groceries,eateries,bakeries,market and other food establishment was conducted by the RHU/Nutrition team to ensure quality,availability and improved community Health & Nutrition.
