𝙎𝘼𝙑𝙀𝙍𝙎 𝙎𝘼 𝙆𝙊𝙈𝙐𝙉𝙄𝘿𝘼𝘿 ✨🤝

Christmas is not just a season of receiving, but a beautiful time for giving back. Last December 23, 2025, the Students Alliance of Volunteers for Emergency Response and Services (SAVERS), together with the DSSC Graduates of 2025, in collaboration with DSSC–Mapalad Youth Volunteers, shared a meaningful day with the wonderful children of Balay Paraiso through the donation of school supplies and groceries.

More than material gifts, we shared time, laughter, hope, and compassion. The smiles on the children’s faces reminded us that service is the true spirit of Christmas. 🎁✨

𝙎𝘼𝙑𝙀𝙍𝙎 𝙎𝘼 𝙀𝘿𝙐𝙆𝘼𝙎𝙔𝙊𝙉✨️👩‍🏫

On December 18, 2025, the 𝑺𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔 𝑨𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑽𝒐𝒍𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑬𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒚 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒔 recently conducted an intensive short Workshop on Vital Signs for BTLED (Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education) 3rd year students. The students shown an incredible enthusiasm as they practiced these life-saving techniques (Blood pressure, pulse rate, respiratory rate and temperature).

For future educators, these aren’t just clinical skills—they are essential tools for classroom management and student safety. And by mastering these vitals, these students are now better equipped to handle health-related situations in their future classrooms. When we empower our teachers with health literacy, we protect the future of our learners.

On December 12, 2025, the Students Alliance of Volunteers for Emergency Response and Services (SAVERS), together with NRSC, Alumni, and DSSC–MAPALAD, successfully held the Culmination of National Volunteer Month with the theme 𝘝𝘰𝘭𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘮 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘋𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵: 𝘌𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘰𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘢 𝘑𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘙𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘍𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦.

This meaningful event was made possible through the leadership of Ma’am Queenie Lyn G. Almerez, PhD (Director of Extension and Community Services), Sir Raji-Un A. Pedtamanan (NSTP Coordinator), and Sir Wally Carcedo (Alumni President).
