Policy Update: Lifting of Mandatory Face Mask Requirement
The mandatory requirement for wearing face masks within school premises, including all classrooms, common areas, and indoor facilities, is officially ๐๐๐๐๐๐
.
This decision is based on a thorough assessment of the local health situation and the successful management and containment of the recent increase in chickenpox cases within our school community. The primary health concern that necessitated the mask mandate has subsided.
While the mandatory requirement is removed,

We urge individuals who are immunocompromised, experiencing symptoms of illness (even mild ones), or frequently interacting with vulnerable populations to continue masking as a proactive measure.
The following essential health protocols remain in effect and must be rigorously observed by everyone:
1. Individuals displaying symptoms of a communicable illness (e.g., fever, persistent cough) must self-isolate
2. Frequent and thorough handwashing with soap and water, or the use of alcohol-based sanitizers, is mandatory
3. Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or the elbow. Dispose of used tissues immediately.
