Our kababayans in Cebu still need your help. Families affected by the recent disaster are still in need of:

The Philippine Red Cross Davao del Sur Chapter brought the CPR Caravan to Sulop Senior High School today, joined by 71 STEM students and Red Cross Youth members. 🙌

Participants gained essential knowledge and skills on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) — empowering the youth to be prepared and ready to save lives in times of emergency.

The Philippine Red Cross Davao del Sur Chapter successfully conducted the CPR Caravan at Astorga Central Elementary School and Almendras Elementary School, Municipality of Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur on September 15, 2025.

A Total of 265 students and teachers were empowered with lifesaving knowledge and skills on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) — because in emergencies, everyone can be a lifesaver! 🙌

𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗟𝗗 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧 𝗔𝗜𝗗 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱!

𝘿𝙞𝙜𝙤𝙨 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮, 𝘿𝙖𝙫𝙖𝙤 𝙙𝙚𝙡 𝙎𝙪𝙧— On September 13, 2025, the Philippine Red Cross Davao del Sur Chapter joined the global celebration of World First Aid Day with the theme “𝘍𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘈𝘪𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘊𝘭𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦,” emphasizing the importance of preparedness and safety in the face of environmental challenges.

This activity underscores the need for readiness during calamities and common emergencies brought about by climate change. It reminded participants that disasters like floods, typhoons, and extreme heat can happen anytime, and being equipped with first aid knowledge is a vital way to protect lives and ensure safety in their communities.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Holy Cross Academy, Inc. for their unwavering support and active participation throughout the event. May the knowledge and skills gained be instilled in your hearts and minds, guided by the fundamental principles of the Red Cross.

𝗣𝗛𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗣𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗗 𝗖𝗥𝗢𝗦𝗦 𝗗𝗔𝗩𝗔𝗢 𝗗𝗘𝗟 𝗦𝗨𝗥 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗝𝗢𝗜𝗡𝗦 𝟮𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗪 𝗡𝗚 𝗗𝗜𝗚𝗢𝗦 𝗖𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗖 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗗𝗘!

In line with the week-long celebration of the 25th Araw ng Digos, the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) Davao del Sur Chapter proudly joined the Civic Parade 2025, showcasing the spirit of unity, volunteerism, and humanitarian service. Staff, volunteers, and members of various Red Cross Youth councils in Digos City walked together with pride, carrying the banner of the Red Cross movement as they paraded through the city’s main streets.

The chapter extends its deepest gratitude to the Red Cross Youth councils who joined and represented their schools with great enthusiasm and commitment. These include the Digos City National High School Senior and Senior Plus Council, Cor Jesu College Senior Plus and College Council, and Holy Cross Academy Red Cross Youth. Their active participation reflected not only their dedication to the Red Cross mission but also their readiness to uphold the fundamental principles of Red Cross.

Once again, we express our heartfelt appreciation to all the staff, volunteers, and Red Cross Youth councils who took part in this meaningful celebration. May we continue to live by the guiding principle of the Red Cross Movement— 𝐒𝐢𝐚𝐦𝐨 𝐓𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐢 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢!
