🌿 A Daily Dose of Wellness for Young Minds 🌿

What a gift to spend Humanities Week with the Grade 9 and 10 students of Philippine Science High School—young scholars who chose to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with nature in the middle of their busy academic life.

Through forest bathing, they experienced what it means to pause with intention, quiet the mind, and let the forest restore what stress takes away. Their curiosity, openness, and presence made the walk meaningful for all of us.

Here’s to more spaces where our youth can simply be, reconnect, and remember that wellness is not a luxury—it’s a daily practice. 🍃

Another step forward for nature-based wellness in the Philippines. Nature Therapy PH is honored to support the AFoCO–DENR FRESH Project in bringing forest bathing and nature connection to the center of government training and policy discussions.

Participants engaged in a morning forest bathing immersion, reconnecting with nature through slow walking, grounding, and sensory awareness.

In the sessions that followed, we explored how nature-based wellness can be integrated into national programs—strengthening linkages across health, tourism, and environmental agencies. These efforts help build a shared understanding of how forest bathing contributes to public well-being and resilient urban spaces.

We look forward to continuing this shared work with partners who believe in the healing power of nature and its place in public programs.

On June 24, Nature Therapy PH, facilitated a Forest Bathing Walk and Daily Dose of Wellness for the Grade School and High School Academic Councils, Guidance Counselors, and Community Involvement Team Leaders of Saint Theresa’s College of Quezon City, as part of their preparation for the opening of the new school year.

Initiated by School Director, Dr. Maria Teresa Bayle, the session invited the Administration and Team Leaders to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with the natural spaces within their own campus — including the quiet presence of their Heritage Tree, which became a grounding point for reflection and renewal.

STCQC has been a valued partner of World of Outbound Corp., the mother company of Nature Therapy PH since 2000, bringing students and teachers into natural and social environments for meaningful, experiential learning.

We’re grateful to walk alongside them once again, this time through a path of wellness and reconnection.

The recent Forest Bathing Walk and Workshop held at Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center was a meaningful step in bringing the AFoCO-DENR FRESH Project’s vision to life.

It was a key moment in shaping Wildlife's forest bathing programs and future forest healing initiatives. We’re excited to make this gentle, science-backed practice more accessible to help support well-being, conservation, and a deeper sense of connection with our green spaces.

We are thankful for the opportunity to help lay this foundation alongside the Department of Environment and Natural Resources - Biodiversity Management Bureau (DENR-BMB), Asian Forest Cooperation Organization (AFoCO), and the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center (NAPWC) team.

May Forest Bathing in the Philippines continue to take root, grow, and bloom!

We’ve been quiet here... but deeply rooted in the work.

While our social media took a gentle pause, our team was out in the field — guiding forest bathing walks, designing wellness workshops, and holding space for quiet moments in nature.

In the silence, we’ve grown.
And now, we’re slowly blooming again — ready to share the stories, the stillness, and the strength we’ve found in the forest.

Welcome back to Nature Therapy PH.
Let’s walk this path together again.

What is Forest Bathing?

Forest Bathing is a wellness practice that uses all your senses to connect with nature and access the healing power of the forest. Through this practice, your body and mind can be restored and strengthened, allowing you to achieve a sense of balance and well-being.

Studies have shown that engaging in Forest Bathing can lead to numerous benefits including a decrease in stress hormones, improvement in cardiovascular and respiratory health, a boost in the immune system, as well as an increase in anti-cancer cells.
Additionally, participants have reported feeling more relaxed and even experienced improved concentration and energy levels.

We invite you to discover and experience the healing powers of nature with us. Join us in our Forest Bathing Walks or book a Nature Therapy Workshop for your group. Contact us at book@naturetherapy.ph
