Doctor of Optometry in the Philippines started as early as 1900s and the oldest Optometry in Asia Pacific , Optometrist in the Phillippines are recognized in ASIA , UAE , Middle East , Can be a member or Fellow of American Academy of Optometry , USA COVD College of Vision Development etc.and can continue to study also as Optometrist in Canada Australia and USA and take the State Board .
