CEREMONIAL GROUNDBREAKING OF DOH-TRC DULAG FACILITY EXPANSION

Pormal nang ipinahayag ng DOH-TRC Dulag ang proyekto nitong facility expansion sa pamamagitan ng isang natatanging Groundbreaking Ceremony na pinangunahan ng ating butihing Kalihim ng Kagawaran ng Kalusugan, Secretary Ted Herbosa, at DOH-TRC Dulag Chief of Hospital III, Dr. Portia B. Gravoso-Aliposa. Ito ay ginanap noong January 30, 2026 sa Barangay Fatima, Dulag, Leyte. Kasama sa mga dumalo sa naturang okasyon ang Regional Director ng DOH-EV CHD, Dr. Exuperia B. Sabalberino, ARD Catherine Miral, Dir. Tina Marasigan ng Health Promotion Bureau, PhilHealth Staff, DOH Central Office and DOH Eastern Visayas staff, at mga kawani ng DOH-TRC Dulag.

Ang layunin ng proyektong ito ay para (1) tugunan ang admission waiting time lalo na ng mga Court-mandated patients, (2) magkaroon ng sapat na pasilidad para sa mga female patients, juveniles, members ng LGBTQIA+, at iba pa na may mga espesyal na pangangailangan, at (3) mas mapalawak ang iba pang mga serbisyong ibinibigay ng DOH-TRC Dulag tulad ng Animal Bite Treatment Services, Yakap at Gamot Program, Laboratory Services, X-ray Services, Detoxification Services, Dental Services, at iba pa.

Hindi naging madali ang proseso para maumpisahan ang proyektong ito. Pero dahil sa pagpupursige ng DOH-TRC Dulag, nakabili ito ng lupa sa pamamagitan ng hospital income nito. Sabi nga ni Health Secretary Ted Herbosa sa kanyang mensahe, "You have impressed me the last time I visited your facility because of your services being offered even beyond your mandate, at ito na naman, you have impressed me more."

Asahan na mas maraming pang matutulungan ang DOH-TRC Dulag dahil sa proyektong ito. Asahan po niyo na hindi sasayangin ng DOH-TRC Dulag ang tiwalang ipinagkaloob ng mga Pilipino.

-Dulag MDRRMO and Traffic Enforcers

DOH, PINANGUNAHAN ANG KAMBAL NA GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY SA LEYTE: SUB-NATIONAL REFERENCE LABORATORY SA TOLOSA AT TREATMENT AND REHABILITATION CENTER DULAG EXPANSION

Isang makasaysayang araw para sa Tolosa at Dulag Leyte! Sa huling araw ng kanyang paglilibot sa rehiyon, nanguna sa isang makasaysayang Groundbreaking Ceremony ang Kalihim ng Kagawaran ng Kalusugan, Sec. Ted Herbosa at DOH-EV CHD Regional Director Dr. Exuperia B. Sabalberino, para sa ‘soon to rise’ Sub-National Reference Laboratory – Eastern Visayas sa Tolosa Leyte at TRC Dulag Expansion.

Ang itatayong pasillidad sa Tolosa ay magsisilbing haligi ng pampublikong kalusugan para mga kalapit na barangay at munisipalidad. Ito rin ay magbibigay ng mahahalagang kakayahan sa pagsusuri at pananaliksik. Sa lawak na 6,574 square meters, dito itatayo ang 1-Storey Infectious Laboratory Building at 3-Storey Non-Infectious Laboratory and Administration Building na maglalaman ng mga sumusunod:
✅Wastewater Treatment Facility
✅Sewage Treatment Plant
✅Waste Holding Area
✅Cistern Tank and Pump House; atbp.

Samantala, matapos ang ilang hamon, matagumpay na ring masisimulan ang Expansion Project ng TRC Dulag sa Brgy. Fatima, Dulag, Leyte. Ang proyektong ito ay tugon sa lumalaking pangangailangan para sa rehabilitasyon at inaasahang lulutas sa matagal nang kakulangan ng pasilidad para sa mga kababaihan, kabataan, at special populations, kabilang ang LGBTQ+ at Juveniles.

Ang kambal na proyektong ito ay bahagi ng adhikain ng DOH para sa patuloy na pagsusulong sa misyon ng Universal Health Care, para sa inklusibo at tapat na serbisyong pangkalusugan para sa lahat.
