⏳ How Long is Labor?

Labor length can vary widely, but here’s a general guide:

🟢 First-Time Moms (Primipara)

Stage 1 (Early & Active Labor): 8–12 hours on average

Stage 2 (Pushing & Birth): 1–2 hours

Stage 3 (Placenta Delivery): 5–30 minutes

🟡 Experienced Moms (Multipara)

Labor is often shorter

Stage 1: 5–8 hours on average

Stage 2: 20–60 minutes

⚠️ Note: Every labor is unique. Factors like baby’s position, strength of contractions, and medical interventions can change the timing.

✨ The most important thing: trust your body and your care team.
