Japan's most beloved dog, Hachiko, celebrates his 100th birthday today, November 10, 2023.

Hachiko, a Japanese Akita dog, is known for his remarkable loyalty to his owner, Hidesaburo Ueno, whom he faithfully waited for at a train station for nearly 10 years until passing away in March 1935, without knowing that Ueno had already died in 1925.

The heartwarming tale of these two deeply moved the hearts of many locals and netizens, inspiring the public to immortalize their remarkable bond through two films, the Japanese movie "Hachikō Monogatari" and the English movie "Hachi - A Dog's Tale."
