This National Women’s Month, we proudly honor the incredible women who lead with courage, compassion, and commitment, especially those who embody the spirit of service in the Red Cross Youth–GSCNHS.

In every outreach, every emergency response, and every act of volunteerism, women continue to stand at the forefront, offering not just their time but their hearts. They are leaders, mentors, responders, and changemakers who prove that true strength is found in kindness and humanity.

Guided by the principles of the Red Cross—humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity, and universality—women show that leadership is not defined by authority alone, but by empathy and action. Their dedication reminds us that “service above self” is more than a phrase; it is a lifelong commitment.

As we celebrate this month, may we continue to uplift and empower one another, break barriers, and inspire the next generation of young women leaders who will carry on the mission of hope and service.

𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝, 𝐬𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬.

Saving lives starts with one generous act. The Pledge 25 Program of the Philippine Red Cross is a youth-led initiative that promotes voluntary blood donation and encourages young people to commit to becoming regular lifesavers. Through this campaign and mass blood donation activity, the Red Cross Youth continues to strengthen a culture of humanitarian service and community solidarity.

Last February 19, 2026, the Red Cross Youth Department of the General Santos City-Sarangani Province Chapter successfully conducted the Pledge 25 Campaign and Mass Blood Donation at General Santos City National High School. This milestone event marks the first Pledge 25 Program for the year 2026, setting the momentum for more lifesaving initiatives in the coming months. The activity was made possible in collaboration with the Department of Education Division of General Santos City, and in support of the Gensan Eagles Club, Rotary Club of Gensan, the Community Leaders of Brgy. Calumpang, DepEd Gensan School Nurses, and the GSCNHS RCY Council.

Special thanks to Dir. Daniel Saavedra Jr. and Dir. Isagani S. Dela Cruz for their invaluable support in making this event possible. We also extend our sincere appreciation to the School Head of GSCNHS, Ma'am Matty B. Napoles, and the Assistant to the Principal, Sir Roberto Barrientos, for the warm welcome and for gracing the event.

As we celebrate this meaningful achievement, we look forward to more schools and RCY Councils bringing the Pledge 25 Program to their respective communities and continuing the mission of saving lives together. ❤️🩸

The Red Cross Youth – GSCNHS proudly joined the vibrant Parada ng Lahi 2026 in celebration of the Kalilangan Festival, standing united with PRC Staffs, C*C officers, and different councils from across the General Santos City–Sarangani Chapter.

Led by the committed PRC staff and C*C Officers, our delegation marched with pride and purpose. This meaningful participation was strengthened by the presence of our fellow volunteers from other services, RCY Officers and Members from MSU-CETD Council, Fatima NHS Council, Labangal NHS Council, GSCNSSAT, DAMNHS Council, Brgy. Labangal Community RCY Council, GSC SPED-IS Council, DNHS Council and GSCNHS Council.

‎Celebrating unity through culture, the Red Cross Youth continues to make an impact especially through our involvement in community activities, where diversity, heritage, and volunteerism come together as one.
