These themes directly resonate with Gensantos Foundation College, Inc. (GFI), known as the Heart of the Humble Dreamers. As an institution that nurtures learners from diverse backgrounds, GFI fosters an environment where students grow together, support one another, and strive toward their dreams despite obstacles. The song’s imagery of “bituin,” “liwanag,” and “pag-asa” symbolizes the guidance and encouragement GFI provides to its academic community.

Despite the gloomy skies and rainfall, the GenSantos Foundation College, Inc. community proved its unwavering spirit as students, faculty, and staff to came together for the much-awaited first ever Fun Run. United in purpose and energy, participants braved the weather with smiles, cheers, and unstoppable determination as they completed the route that both started and ended at the GFI Field.

The event was organized by the GFI Medic Team together with GFI Peer Facilitators and GFI Criminology Intern Unit who worked together to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. Their efforts included arranging stations, providing support, and coordinating the start and finish lines to keep the event running seamlessly.

This 2025 fun run celebrates not only wellness and camaraderie, but also the resilience that defines every Humble Dreamer of GFI. It served as a reminder that the community can overcome any challenge when they stand together, making the occasion a memorable tribute to their shared spirit.

Gensantos Foundation College, Inc. (GFI) successfully held its first-ever fun run as part of the celebration of its 31st Founding Anniversary, spearheaded by the Medic Team and Peer Facilitators, bringing together students, faculty, and staff who pushed through rain or shine last Saturday, November 15, with the starting and ending point at the GFI Field.
