Sa bawat pasyente naming ginagamot, sa bawat pamilyang aming pinatatag, at sa bawat kwento ng pag-asa na araw-araw naming nasasaksihan, naroon ang diwa ng Pasko.

Ngayong taon, ang aming SEHI Christmas ID ay handog sa lahat na patuloy na lumalaban, umaasa, at nagpapagaling. Isa itong awit ng pasasalamat sa inyong tiwala, at paalala na sa St. Elizabeth Hospital, ang pag-aalaga ay hindi lang serbisyo, isa itong pangako na ginagawa namin mula sa puso.

For 15-year-old Joriel Eslaban, SEHI has been more than a hospital, it has been her guiding light. As SEHIโ€™s first Open Heart Surgery patient in February 2023, her journey has been one of courage and hope.

After delivering her message of thanks, SEHI CEO Mr. Tony Veneracion stepped forward to give Joriel a bouquet and a heartfelt hug, a simple but touching moment that showed how deeply SEHI cares for its patients.

Her mother, Raquel Eslaban, shared: โ€œEvery year, SEHI lights up Christmas lights, but for Joriel, SEHI has already been the light that guided her journey. Thank you for helping Joriel make her dream come true especially to Ted Garcia, Suzette Escleto, Gale Monteza, Dr. Edwin Valencia, Dr. Ardynne Martin Mallari, and most especially Jorielโ€™s heroes, Mr. Tony Veneracion and Dr. Ma Helena Veneracion-Garcia.

Joriel added:
โ€œHabang buhay po akong magpapasalamat at tatanawin ko po itong utang na loob.โ€

Their story is a powerful reminder that SEHIโ€™s care goes beyond medicine, it gives hope, fulfills dreams, and transforms lives.

Last night, St. Elizabeth Hospital welcomed the Christmas season with our 2025 Christmas Lighting Ceremony, celebrating hope, compassion, and the gift of healing.

The evening was made even more special by the inspiring story of 13-year-old Joriel Eslaban, our first-ever Open Heart Surgery patient. Together with her mother, Ms. Raquel Eslaban, Joriel shared her journey of courage, perseverance, and gratitude, reminding us all that miracles happen when care is wholehearted and complete.

From dazzling lights to heartfelt stories, every moment reflected our theme, โ€˜Sa Puso ng Pasko, Alagaโ€™y Buo,โ€™ and the promise that at SEHI, care extends beyond medicine, it touches hearts and transforms lives.
