SILVER LINING PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES: THE FIRST PTO GRANTEE IN THE PHILIPPINES, RECEIVES COC FROM THE PRB PSYCHOLOGY
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) XII has awarded the Certificate of Compliance (COC) under the Professional Regulatory Board (PRB) of Psychology to Silver Lining Psychological Services on March 11, 2025 in PRC XII Regional Office in the City of Koronadal.
Silver Lining Psychological Services was also the first psychological clinic in the Philippines that has been granted with Permit to Operate (PTO) by the PRB of Psychology. The said PTO was issued on August 11, 2023, in compliance with the Board Resolution No. 04, s. 2023, and may be renewed every three years.
The Resolution No. 4, s. 2023 or the “Rules and Regulations to Implement Section 33(b) of R.A. No. 10029 or the “Philippine Psychology Act of 2009” on the Issuance of Permit to Operate a Psychology or Psychometric Office, Center, Clinic, or Facility” took effect on July 16, 2023.
After the inspection and monitoring of the Board in 2024, the said psychological clinic was found to be fully compliant on the requirements of the existing laws, rules, and regulations on the practice of psychology profession
In behalf of the Regional Director Rotelo B. Cabugsa, the COC was handover by Ms. Melizza L. de Jesus, Supervising Professional Regulations Officer to Ms. Dinah Jean A. Tacogue, Psychologist Center Director of Silver Lining Psychological Services located in General Santos City.
