A day full exciting activities, the Local Government Unit of General Santos City through the City Economic Management and Cooperative Development Office gears towards the celebration of its cityhood for the 54th City Charter Anniversary of General Santos on June 15, 2022, with a theme: “Araw ng Heneral: Ipagbunyi, Ipagdiwang”.

Among the lined up activities are the military parade and wreath laying ceremony, clean up drive, and grand launching of the new General Santos City Seal, among others.

The celebration of cityhood commemorates its humble beginnings, of how it came about, flourished over the years, and thrive successfully and fruitfully over the years.
