The Professional Regulatory Board of Pharmacy, through its PRBOP Resolution no. 65 s. 2025 has formally adopted the Certification Program for Immunizing Pharmacists (CPIP) as the official framework for training, assessment, and certification of pharmacists authorized to administer vaccines to adults.๐
Under the new guidelines, training providers must be accredited by the PRC and follow the Board-prescribed curriculum covering both theory and hands-on practice, with final competency validation by the designated Competency Development Group.
As part of this development, the Philippine Pharmacists Association (PPhA) is preparing to be an accredited training provider under CPIPโ
. We will soon release the details on training schedules, requirements, and enrollment.
This marks an important step in expanding pharmacistsโ role in public health and improving access to life-saving vaccines nationwide.
