The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Gerona conducted a comprehensive fire drill on November 13, 2025, to enhance RHU-3's preparedness and response during fire emergencies. BFP personnel provided an orientation on fire prevention, proper use of fire extinguishers, evacuation procedures, and safety protocols, followed by a simulated fire scenario that allowed participants to practice organized evacuation and effective coordination. The drill was smoothly carried out, with participants actively engaging in all components of the activity, thereby strengthening overall safety awareness and emergency readiness.
We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to BFP Gerona for their unwavering support and for efficiently facilitating the fire drill. Their guidance and expertise were instrumental in ensuring the success of the activity and in equipping participants with the knowledge and confidence needed to respond effectively in emergency situations.

Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) Risk Assessment

The Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) Risk Assessment was conducted to identify and manage early signs of potential health risks among community members. Services provided included blood pressure monitoring, height and weight measurement for BMI computation, and distribution of anti-hypertensive maintenance medications to patients.

This proactive initiative aims to strengthen disease prevention, promote healthy lifestyles, and ensure a healthier community for all.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Barangay Officials of Santiago and the Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) for their continuous support and cooperation. 💪🏽

National Immunization Program (NIP) and Ante-Natal Care (ANC) Services were conducted in Barangay San Agustin on October 20, 2025.

The National Immunization Program (NIP) is a government health initiative aimed at protecting infants and children from vaccine-preventable diseases. It ensures that all children receive free, routine vaccinations according to a schedule set by the Department of Health (DOH).

On the other hand, Ante-Natal Care (ANC) refers to the routine health care given to pregnant women throughout their pregnancy to ensure the well-being of the mother and the developing baby. It is a key component of maternal health services and is typically provided by trained healthcare professionals at health centers.

PAALALA PARA SA MGA MAGPAPA-LABORATORYO SA CARAVAN OF SERVICES

Para sa mga nagnanais na magpa-blood extraction sa darating na Caravan of Services, mahalagang sundin ang wastong proseso ng fasting upang masiguro ang tama at maaasahang resulta ng laboratory tests.

Kung kayo ay nakatakdang kunan ng dugo sa ganap na alas-8 ng umaga, ang inyong huling pagkain ay dapat hanggang alas-10 ng gabi ng nakaraang araw.

Mula alas-10 ng gabi hanggang sa oras ng pagkuha ng dugo, hindi na pinahihintulutan ang pag-inom o pagkain, kabilang na ang tubig.

Ito ay isang mahalagang hakbang upang hindi maapektuhan ang resulta ng pagsusuri.
