Empowering young parents for a healthier future!
Our Adolescent Health and Development Activity in Brgy. San Rafael, Usapang BIBA (Batang Ina, Batang Ama) brought together teen parents to learn, share their experiences, and reflect on the realities of early parenthood. We also introduced the Reproductive Life Plan to help them set goals and make informed decisions for themselves and their children.

Thank you to all our teen parent participants from San Rafael and Morera, as well as to Midwife Amy and Nurse Shiek for their commitment to ensuring everyone’s attendance.

Through these interactive activities, we aimed to provide accurate information, encourage healthy decision-making, and create a safe and supportive environment for growth.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Hon. Mayor Ann Gemma Ongjoco for her unwavering support of programs that uplift adolescent health and mental wellness.

Parent–Teen Talk: Building Stronger Connections & Stress Debriefing for Mental Well-Being

This was the first-ever initiative by the Mental Health and Adolescent Health and Development Programs of RHU Guinobatan, bringing parents and teens together to strengthen communication, deepen understanding, and promote mental well-being. The activity provided a safe and empowering space for families to openly share, connect, and navigate challenges together.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to all the student participants and their parents for their active involvement. Thank you as well to the RCGI Administration and faculty, headed by Ret. Justice Teresita Flores.

Special appreciation to the entire team of the Albay Provincial Health Office – Population and Development Division (APHO–PDD), led by Sir Patrick Regondola. Your dedication, expertise, and hands-on facilitation made this activity a meaningful and impactful experience for everyone.

Thank you Cpd Region V Bicol for the training on the Adolescent Health and Development Package, which enabled us to successfully implement this meaningful activity in our community.

We also sincerely thank Mayor Ann Ongjoco for supporting this initiative and recognizing the importance of programs that strengthen family bonds and youth well-being.

May this successful first implementation inspire other schools to replicate the activity and continue promoting connection, communication, and mental wellness in our communities.
