🔥 Fire Safety Preparedness Activity 🔥

The Guipos Rural Health Unit (RHU), in collaboration with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) – Guipos, successfully conducted a Fire Drill aimed at strengthening the staff’s preparedness and response in case of fire emergencies.

This activity underscores the RHU’s commitment to ensuring safety within the workplace and promoting a culture of readiness and responsibility among its personnel. 🚒💼

We conducted a School-Based Immunization (SBI) program across various schools within the Municipality of Guipos, targeting eligible children in Grade 1, Grade 4, and Grade 7. The administered vaccines included Measles-Rubella and Tetanus-Diphtheria (MR-TD) for Grade 1 & 7 students, and the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine for Grade 4 female students. This activity aimed to strengthen routine immunization coverage and protect school-aged children from vaccine-preventable diseases.

We strongly encourage all parents and guardians to continue supporting this initiative to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of their children and the community as a whole.

The nurses and midwives of Guipos Rural Health Unit conducted a School-Based Immunization Orientation on October 1, 2025, across various public schools in Guipos. This activity marks the start of the month-long School-Based Immunization Campaign, which will run throughout October 2025. The orientation aimed to educate school personnel, students, and parents about the importance of immunization and to encourage active participation in the upcoming health initiative."

We also thank our barangays, our ever-dedicated RHU staff, barangay health workers, and barangay officials who stood with us every step of the way. Your hard work and commitment made this achievement possible.
