On October 10, 2025, the Antique Provincial Department of Health Office with the Hamtic DOH Human Resources for Health, and in partnership with the Hamtic Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), DENR CENRO Belison, Hamtic PNP PCR, local government officials and BLGU Caridad, came together to make a positive impact on the environment. The highlight of the event was a beachfront tree planting activity in Barangay Caridad, Hamtic, Antique.
With the collective effort of dedicated individuals, including SB Doc. Eva Pacificador, SB Liberty Bertolano, SB Evangeline Pacete, and the Hamtic Primary Care Facility team, the event was a resounding success. The group planted Dangkalan and Balabago trees, which will not only beautify the coastline but also contribute to the preservation of the environment.
The significance of this event lies in the collective commitment to environmental preservation. As the saying goes, "Your hands made a difference today; every tree we plant brings life to our planet." This initiative serves as a reminder that individual actions, when combined, can have a profound impact on the health of our planet.
