PNP NETS 3 MOST WANTED FOR R**E, SEXUAL OFFENSES IN SEPARATE POLICE OPERATIONS
The Philippine National Police (PNP) arrested three wanted individuals facing multiple r**e and sexual offense charges in separate police operations conducted in Rizal, Camarines Norte, and Laguna on March 2 and 3, 2026.
In San Mateo, Rizal, a 53-year-old male was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest for six (6) counts of Qualified R**e, with no bail recommended, and three (3) counts of violation of Republic Act No. 7610 or the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act, with bail recommended at ₱200,000.00 for each count.
In Mercedes, Camarines Norte, joint police units captured the region’s No. 2 Most Wanted Person, a 32-year-old male alias “Bert.” He is facing five (5) counts of Statutory R**e, five (5) counts of R**e by Sexual Assault, and one (1) count of violation of Republic Act No. 7610 or the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act. Bail was not recommended for the r**e charges.
Meanwhile, in Calamba City, Laguna, authorities arrested the No. 4 Most Wanted Person at the provincial level who is facing four (4) counts of Sexual Assault and four (4) counts of Acts of Lasciviousness, with more than ₱6 million in total bail recommended.
Chief PNP, Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., commended the operating units for their swift and coordinated actions.
“These arrests send a clear message—walang ligtas sa batas. We will relentlessly pursue those who prey on the vulnerable. Our duty is to protect, especially our children, and we will not stop until justice is served,” PGEN Nartatez said.
The arrested individuals are now under police custody for proper disposition.
The operations form part of the PNP’s intensified campaign against wanted persons, strengthening intelligence-driven and coordinated law enforcement efforts nationwide.
The PNP assures the public that operations against wanted persons will remain aggressive and sustained, in pursuit of safer communities and in line with the vision of a Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat at Nararamdaman.
