Cancer is one of those things that no one chooses to get. And while Iโm not glad that I got it, it has changed my entire life and how I appreciate and look at everything around me. I am now so aware of anything in the gynecologic area. If Iโm bloated, if Iโm bleeding, Iโm so acutely aware of it. And I know my body. Itโs important to be able to talk to someone about whatโs happening.
Everything happened very quickly. My OB found out i had cancer, During my major operation๐ข๐ข June 10,2020(remove ovaries and womb) , and by July 23rd, I had a radical hysterectomy. This treatment was recommended based on the kind of cancer it was, my age, and the fact that I already had a 3 kids. I didnโt care what had to be done, I wanted it out. I trusted my doctor.
