Philippine Red Cross-Iligan City Chapter Health Caravan joins the Ronda Brgy. One Stop Service and Launching of the Free Wifi Project in collaboration of Iligan Chamber of Commerce Foundation and Other Partners.

More than 200 individuals from Brgy. Bunawan were given free health services by volunteers and staff of PRC-Iligan.

Services offered:

Health Consultation with Free Medicines
Health Lecture and First Aid Demo
Hot Meals

DEPLOYMENT UPDATE

Another dedicated volunteer, Mr. Leonard, has safely arrived at Mactan-Cebu International Airport and is now en route to Bogo City to assist in the WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) response team.

This deployment is in response to the recent magnitude 6.9 earthquake that affected parts of Cebu. Our team remains committed to support reaches the communities in need.

Two of our very own dedicated volunteers, Ms. Sheila and Sheryl, are set to depart as part of the Welfare Services team for the recent magnitude 6.9 earthquake in Cebu.

Philippine Red Cross Iligan City Chapter deployed 34 dedicated volunteers last Sunday, September 21, 2025, in support of various Fiesta 2025 activities held across the city.

Volunteers were mobilized to assist in the following events:

Pickleball Competition
Half-Marathon Run
Danztrack
Ultimate Frisbee Competition

As part of the ongoing Fiesta Calendar celebrations, the Philippine Red Cross – Iligan City Chapter proudly deployed 57 dedicated volunteers today to provide first aid and ambulance support at various monitoring points across the city.

Philippine Red Cross-Iligan City Chapter joined the 3rd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill Functional and Communication Exercise last September 11, 2025 at Linamon, Lanao Del Norte. The activity is spearheaded by the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, through the office of the Civil Defense Regional Office X with the Local Government of Linamon, Lanao Del Norte.

The exercise aims to assess the local capacities to respond to earthquakes particularly ensuring public safety through well organized evacuation and response procedures.

On September 3, 2025, Philippine Red Cross-Iligan City Chapter held its Board of Directors Monthly Board Meeting and Induction of our New Board of Directors.

A special congratulations to our newly appointed Board of the Directors: Councilor Derrick Siao, Dr. Abel B. Gomez and Lt. Col. Myrvin Gargar who officially took their oath of office as the newly PRC-Iligan City Chapter Baord of Directors. We would also like to welcome the Office of the Vice Mayor represented by Mr. Butch Abellanosa and PNP ICPO represented by Police Major Zandrex Panolong who are present during the Board Meeting.
