Thanksgiving Message from the President
Adventist Medical Center–Iligan

As we look back on the year 2025, our hearts are filled with gratitude and awe for the bountiful blessings of God upon Adventist Medical Center–Iligan. Truly, the Lord has been faithful to His promise:

“You crown the year with Your goodness, and Your paths drip with abundance.”
— Psalm 65:11

This year has been a testimony of God’s sustaining grace—seen in our financial stability, operational growth, and more importantly, in the spiritual strengthening of our institution. Every achievement, every milestone, every life touched through our services is a reflection not of human strength alone, but of God’s guiding hand working through dedicated and faithful AMCI workers.

We thank the Lord for the unity of our officers, administrators, doctors, nurses, staff, and partners in mission, who continue to serve with compassion, excellence, and faith. As Scripture reminds us:

“Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.”
— Psalm 127:1

As we now step forward to 2026, we do so with renewed faith and confidence in God’s promises. We pray not only for greater blessings, but for greater wisdom, stronger faith, and deeper commitment to our mission of healing—ministering to the physical, mental, social, and spiritual needs of those we serve.

“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.”
— Proverbs 16:3

May the coming year be one where AMCI continues to be a beacon of hope, healing, and Christ-centered service, guided by God’s will and sustained by His unfailing love.
To God be all the glory, honor, and praise—now and always.

“The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.”
— Psalm 126:3

Happy Thanksgiving, and may the Lord bless AMCI abundantly in 2026 and beyond.

— Nestor V. Molleda

Give a Heart Program – Season 20 ❤️🎄

On December 23, 2025, the spirit of love, generosity, and compassion filled Adventist Medical Center Iligan (AMCI) as its workers once again became channels of God’s blessings through the Give a Heart Program, Season 20.

In the true essence of Christmas, AMCI workers shared their blessings with the less fortunate Adventist members of Iligan City, especially those from the hinterland and urban areas. A total of 110 Adventist families from different districts of Iligan gathered at the AMCI Conference Room, where each family gratefully received 5 kilos of rice and a Noche Buena package—simple gifts that carried profound meaning and heartfelt love.

This meaningful outreach reflects the truth of Acts 20:35,
“It is more blessed to give than to receive.”

Indeed, Jesus is the reason for the season, and Christmas is a reminder that love is best expressed through giving.

As God has abundantly blessed AMCI throughout the year, it was only fitting for the workers to share these blessings with others, especially to fellow brothers and sisters in faith.

The Give a Heart Program now on its 20th year is the yearly program of AMCI, continues to be a living testimony of Christ’s love in action—bringing hope, joy, and encouragement to families, and reminding everyone that the true joy of Christmas is found not in receiving, but in sharing God’s love.

All glory and honor belong to God. 🙏✨

🎶 Musical Thanksgiving Vesper | Cherubims Annual Celebration 🙏✨

On December 19, 2025, a meaningful and spirit-filled Vesper Program was joyfully sponsored by the Cherubims through a Musical Thanksgiving Concert, celebrating God’s goodness and faithfulness. The program featured heartfelt songs of praise offered by the Cherubims—most of whom are children of AMCI workers—sharing their talents in worship and thanksgiving.

Under the loving guidance and baton of Ma’am Leilanie Pearl Barsobia, our NICU Head Nurse, the young performers confidently presented music that uplifted hearts and glorified God. This annual celebration of the Cherubims continues to be a witness to the importance of nurturing faith at a young age.

The Cherubims and Children’s Division play a vital role in training and molding our children, helping them grow in confidence, build lifelong friendships, and develop a spirit of service through active church involvement.

These moments are more than just performances—they are golden childhood memories that shape character and faith for a lifetime.

As the Bible reminds us:
“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”
— Proverbs 22:6

Indeed, the evening was a beautiful reminder that when children are guided in love and faith, they become joyful instruments of God’s praise—today and in the years to come. 🌟🎵
