Adventist Medical Center - Iligan

In celebration of the National Day of Charity- pursuant to Proclamation # 598 issued by Pres. Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. , AMC–Iligan together with Medical Social Work Department visited the Iligan City Happy Life Children’s Home, run by the LGU–City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWD) and located in Del Carmen, Iligan City, this afternoon, October 30, 2025.

Together with our partners, we shared moments of joy and compassion with the children through meaningful activities, including:
👩‍⚕️ Pediatric medicine donation and consultation with Dr. Jeannie Generato
📖 Storytelling with a memory verse and action song
📘 School Supplies Distribution
🎨 Play therapy sessions
🍪 Healthy snacks and drinks for the kids

This outreach aims to extend care, hope, and support to the children under the CSWD’s care — reminding us that kindness, no matter how small, can make a big difference. 💙
✨ Special thanks to LGU–CSWD and Iligan City Happy Life Children’s Home Center Head, Ms. Junalyn B. Siacor, RSW, and her dedicated team for allowing us to make this activity happen.

AMCI Holds 7th Blessing & Dedication Ceremony — October 29, 2025

To God be the glory! AMCI dedicated another set of newly upgraded and expanded medical equipment and facilities — including Eye Center lasers, ENT Endoscopy Hub, Stress Testing System, new ICU and OR equipment, Billing Office facelift, MIS cabling upgrade, new entrance gate, and over 150 life-saving devices such as ventilators, monitors, IV pumps, ECGs, and defibrillators.

These improvements strengthen AMCI’s mission of healing with excellence and compassion.

AMCI Finance Cluster Spiritual Retreat (2nd Batch)
Held on October 19–20, this spiritual retreat aims to nurture the spiritual growth of AMCI workers by reflecting on God’s goodness, healing, and forgiveness. Participants engaged in uplifting spiritual activities that strengthened their faith while also enjoying moments of fellowship and reflection. This retreat highlights AMCI’s commitment to the spiritual well-being of its employees—believing that a spiritually renewed worker can share God’s goodness, compassion, and love with patients and everyone around them.

🩸 AMCI Receives “Bloodiest Award” Trophy for Voluntary Blood Donation!
🗓️ October 15, 2025 | 📍 Pearlmont Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City

After being recognized earlier that morning with the 2025 Trailblazer in Health Innovation Award, AMCI was once again honored during the Regional Health Summit and Harmonized Awarding — this time with the prestigious “Bloodiest Award” 🏆 for its outstanding voluntary blood donation program.

This marks our 3rd consecutive year receiving this recognition, and our second blood donation award in 2025, following the Platinum Blood Donation Award earlier this year. 🙌

We thank all our selfless blood donors and committed staff who made this possible!

🙏 39 Operations Cluster Joins 1st Batch of Spiritual Retreat
🗓️ October 14–15, 2025

We are grateful to share that the 39 Operations Cluster successfully joined the 1st batch of our Spiritual Retreat, held on October 14–15, 2025.

📍 Part 1 of the retreat was held at Tambulig Water Park, generously offered free of charge by our very own Nutrition & Dietary Department Head, Ms. Mae Flor Cabahug, and her husband, Engr. Realdone Cabahug. We deeply appreciate their kindness and support. 💖

📍 Part 2 took place at Dakak Resort, Dapitan City, where the group continued the spiritual journey with moments of reflection, bonding, and rest & recreation—including a joyful visit to Fantasyland Theme Park. 🎢🌴

🕊️ The entire activity was coordinated by our dedicated Chaplain Coordinator, Marwin Baloro.

Finance Cluster 1st Batch Spiritual Retreat
📅 October 12–13, 2025
📍 Mt. Pines Spring Resort, Dahilayan, Bukidnon

A total of 45 participants joined the Finance Cluster 1st Batch Spiritual Retreat, held on October 12–13, 2025, at the refreshing and serene Mt. Pines Spring Resort in Dahilayan, Bukidnon.

The retreat was facilitated by Pastor Kenneth Mike Bayola, who led the group in meaningful reflections, fellowship, and spiritual growth.
