Our AMCI Admin and Department Heads gathered at Dahilayan Forest Park for a meaningful and refreshing two-day Strategic Planning Outing as we prepare for AMCI’s direction for 2026.
The team engaged in focused planning sessions, productive discussions, and goal-setting activities—all aimed at building stronger strategies for AMCI’s growth and future success.
Aside from planning, the outing also provided relaxation, enjoyment, and much-needed refreshment for our leaders. It was a great opportunity to unwind, bond, and strengthen teamwork while enjoying the peaceful environment of Dahilayan.
With renewed energy, clearer goals, and a united vision, AMCI is ready to step confidently into 2026! 💙✨

In its unwavering commitment to excellence in patient care, Adventist Medical Center–Iligan (AMCI) has further strengthened its endoscopy services through the availability of the Olympus CV-180 Video System Center (Back-Up Unit). This advanced processor serves as the core imaging control unit for critical endoscopic procedures such as duodenoscopy, gastroscopy, and colonoscopy.
As a back-up imaging system, the Olympus CV-180 ensures service continuity, uninterrupted diagnostic capability, and patient safety, even during system maintenance or unexpected technical challenges. Its primary function is to process and output high-resolution HDTV images from compatible endoscopes—allowing physicians to perform accurate diagnosis and effective treatment with confidence.

Core Functions and Advanced Capabilities

✔ High-Definition Image Processing
The CV-180 processes HDTV-compatible images from connected endoscopes, providing clear, detailed visualization of internal structures—a vital component for precise and timely medical decisions.

✔ Narrow Band Imaging (NBI)
One of its most vital features, NBI uses special optical filters to enhance fine capillaries and mucosal patterns, significantly improving the early detection of gastrointestinal abnormalities, including precancerous lesions.

✔ Image Enhancement and Electronic Magnification
With 1.2x and 1.5x electronic magnification and Structure Enhancement Types A and B, subtle tissue textures and color variations become more visible, helping clinicians detect even the smallest abnormalities.

Designed to integrate seamlessly with Olympus EVIS 100, 130, 140, 160, and 180 series endoscopes, the CV-180 supports a broad range of gastroscopes, colonoscopes, and duodenoscopes, offering flexibility and long-term usability.

Its picture-in-picture capability allows simultaneous viewing of endoscopic images with other imaging sources such as fluoroscopy or ultrasound, enhancing real-time clinical decision-making.

The automatic iris and white balance functions ensure consistent lighting and optimal image quality throughout procedures, improving ease of use and procedural accuracy.

HW-900G Multifunctional Self-Health Check-Up Kiosk

The HW-900G is a comprehensive and user-friendly health assessment kiosk designed to provide quick, accurate, and convenient wellness evaluations. This advanced device measures height, weight, blood pressure, and pulse rate, along with a complete body composition analysis—including body fat percentage, muscle mass, water levels, and key metabolic indicators. It also automatically calculates BMI and presents the results clearly through a thermal printout, voice broadcast, and a large LCD touchscreen for easy viewing.

With support for coin or credit card payments, the HW-900G is well-suited for clinics, gyms, wellness centers, shopping malls, and other public spaces, making health monitoring accessible to everyone.

The Winback Tecar Therapy machine’s primary function is to accelerate the body’s natural healing process by enhancing cellular exchange and increasing blood flow. This helps reduce pain and inflammation, restore mobility, and support faster recovery from injuries and chronic conditions. On November 14, 2025, the Week of Prayer for AMCI workers continued with an inspiring session led by Pastor EC Jovyn Jimenez, Head Chaplain of AMC-Valencia, under the theme: "Growing Together in God's Mission."

The 9th session, titled "Faithful Unto Death: Mission that Never Sinks," reflected on unwavering commitment in service. Pastor Jovyn highlighted three powerful examples:

Desmond Doss from Hacksaw Ridge, who saved 75 lives without wielding a weapon.

The soldiers in Saving Private Ryan, who risked lives for one comrade, though many were lost in the process.

Jesus Christ, who gave His life to save all humanity.

His message reminds us that true mission requires faith, courage, and selfless devotion, anchored in God’s purpose.

85 Bags of Lifesaving Blood Collected! ❤️‍🩹
On November 13, 2025, AMCI—together with the Philippine Red Cross Iligan Chapter—successfully conducted its blood letting activity themed “Saving Lives Together.”

A total of 99 volunteer donors came forward, giving 85 bags of blood that will help save countless lives in our community. Your generosity brings hope, healing, and second chances to those who need it most.

As the Bible reminds us in Proverbs 3:27,
“Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act.”

On November 12, 2025, the Iligan City Health Office honored Adventist Medical Center – Iligan during the Voluntary Blood Services Program Recognition Ceremony 2025 at Celadon, Iligan City.

This award highlights AMCI’s strong support and active participation in promoting voluntary blood donation, helping ensure a safe and adequate blood supply for the people of Iligan City. This recognition is based on the DOH-endorsed Voluntary Blood Services Program Summary of Accomplishments for the 2024 reporting period.

This marks AMCI’s 5th award in 2025 related to blood services and community health:
