Fixed drug eruptions (FDE) are lesions that appear repeatedly on the same skin or mucosal sites with every exposure to a medication. We have had a number of cases due to drugs caused by Co-trimoxazole, Ibuprofen and most recently Zoledronic acid.

👩🏻‍⚕️If you do experience any rashes after intake of a drug, kindly stop the medication and come see a board-certified dermatologist. We’re always here to help with any skin, hair or nail concern.

Acne scar treatment requires a two-pronged approach. First, we control active acne with proper medications. Once the acne is under control, we then proceed to other treatment approaches from topical creams to more invasive procedures like scar revision. We have done 2 sessions of TCA cross, so far. Although we still have more sessions to go, with continued collaboration between the patient and the dermatologist we can achieve realistic expectations.

Both Adventist Medical Center and Suetomi MD Dermatology clinics will still be open for medicine refills, except on Holy Thursday, April 17 and Black Friday, April 18.

Our Story

Dr. Maria Victoria Rosabelle Rovira-Suetomi is a board certified dermatologist who specializes on the diseases of the hair, skin, and nails. She received her college degree at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, University College-New Brunswick in New Jersey, USA. She then took up Medicine at Mindanao State University in Iligan City, Philippines. She had her Post-Graduate Internship training at Philippine General Hospital in Manila, Philippines. She completed her residency training in Dermatology at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Quezon City, Philippines. Dra. Suetomi received training in Advanced Aesthetic Techniques at the International Dermal Institute (Dermalogica) in New York, USA. She is a Fellow of the Philippine Dermatological Society.

Located at the heart of Iligan City, Suetomi MD Dermatology is her very first clinic bringing her passion to help cure various types of skin, hair, and nail diseases, and using state-of-the art medical equipment to aid the needs of her patients.
