The Nutrition and Dietetics Department of Asia Pacific Medical Center โ Iloilo (APMCI) proudly represented the Philippines International Reference Group (Phil IRG) at the prestigious International Dysphagia Diet Standardization Initiative (IDDSI) Asia conference held on November 5, 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand. It was a gathering of multi-healthcare professional practitioner who are dedicated to advancing safe and evidence-based nutrition care for persons with dysphagia.
As a proud member of the IDDSI Global Community, APMCI showcased its evidence-based Dysphagia Diet practices. This is implemented following the IDDSI framework on fluid consistency and texture modification in the provision of meals for patients with Dysphagia. This is highlighting the hospitalโs commitment to quality, safety, and compassionate nutrition care.
APMCI NDD is the front runner in the Nutrition Management of patients with dysphagia following the IDDSI framework in Region VI.
