PSDBP: Committed to Exceptional Specialized Care
More than two decades ago, in September 1999, a group of pioneering Developmental Pediatricians came together to establish a subspecialty society dedicated to advancing the science and art of Developmental Pediatrics. Fifteen (15) founding members began what would later become a strong movement in response to the increasing needs of children with neurodevelopmental conditions.
In July 2000, their vision was formally recognized with the registration of the Philippine Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics (PSDBP) as a non-stock, non-profit organization under the Securities and Exchange Commission. By November 2000, the Society was officially launched at EDSA Shangri-La, Manila.

✨ Our Vision
We are a professional society of developmental and behavioral pediatricians—child advocates who are competent, compassionate, and committed to uplifting the quality of life of Filipino children, especially those with special needs.
Today, PSDBP continues to honor this legacy of care, growth, and advocacy—working hand in hand with families and partners to ensure that no child is left behind.
