Gender-based violence comes in many forms. It may be physical, emotional, psychological, economic, and even online and each one leaves lasting impacts on individuals, families, and communities. By learning to recognize these forms, speaking up, and supporting survivors, we take meaningful steps toward creating safer spaces for everyone. Let’s continue raising awareness, promoting compassion, and taking collective action to end VAWC and build a future rooted in equality and respect.

In support of the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women and Children, we are sharing this RA 9262 brochure to help everyone understand what VAWC is, who is protected under the law, and what steps survivors can take to seek help.

Inside, you’ll find information on the different forms of abuse as well as guidance on how to report incidents, access Protection Orders, and reach support services and hotlines. By spreading awareness, we empower women and children to know their rights and encourage communities to speak up and take action. Together, let us stand firm against all forms of violence and create a safer, more compassionate society for all. 💜✊

Today, we highlight 𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟲 to ensure that women and girls know they are never alone. Let’s continue raising awareness, strengthening support, and standing against all forms of violence.

This wouldn’t have been possible without our event partners, notable guest speakers, and co-organizers 💜🧡 “Caught in 4K: Diskusyon Kontra Karahasan sa Kababaihan at Kabataan” became a meaningful space for awareness, empowerment, and collective advocacy against VAWC. May we continue what we have started by fostering safe spaces, promoting gender equality, and standing together in solidarity with women and children as we work toward a community where everyone is protected, valued, and free from violence. 🤍

As we commemorate LGBTQIA+ History Month, Gerard calls us to remember the struggles that paved the way and to continue the collective fight for equality and inclusion. The movement doesn’t end with one law or one month, it lives on in every act of courage, every voice that refuses to be silenced. ✊️💖

To every young LGBTQIA+ Filipino still seeking courage, community, and acceptance: you are not alone. There is a space that will celebrate you for who you are. You belong.
