The Iloilo Anti-Smoking Taskforce conducted a Re-Orientation, headed by our ICAST Director Mr. Iñigo D. Garingalao.
This program is not just about reminding us of the dangers of smoking but also about encouraging us to take action in spreading awareness and protecting others. It motivated us to be more responsible and supportive of a smoke-free vape-free environment.
We were reminded that our small efforts in promoting a healthy lifestyle can make a big difference in creating a smoke-free community.
Thank you so much to The Association of Respiratory Care Practitioners of the Philippines for sharing your experiences and knowledge. Thank you, Ma'am Mitch De la Cruz and Sir Krannz Ray Lutero.

ICAST In Acti🚭n!

Smoking in Public places is prohibited.
People who are caught smoking in public places will be fined 1500php on the 1st offense, 2000php on the second and 5000php on the 3rd offense, and to be reminded of the health risks their actions pose not only to themselves but also to others around them. Public smoking bans exist to protect the well-being of the community, especially children, the elderly, and those with respiratory issues. While enforcement is necessary, it's equally important to promote awareness about the dangers of smoking and the importance of respecting shared spaces.
