In support of the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women and Children,
MIHMCI encourages every department to set up an Orange Corner, a small, visible
space symbolizing our commitment to safety, respect, and empowerment.

These corners serve as daily reminders that protecting women and children is a shared
responsibility. By displaying orange-themed elements, we unite as one institution
standing against violence and advocating for a community built on compassion and
dignity.

The City of Iloilo has officially launched its first Health and Wellness Tourism Conference, bringing together healthcare providers, tourism stakeholders, and city leaders under the inspiring campaign “Rise and Feel Great.”

This landmark event marks the beginning of a stronger, more prepared Iloilo City in embracing medical and wellness tourism, guided by the expertise of Dr. Candice Tupas, MIHMCI Sonologist and Iloilo City Councilor.

MIHMCI is honored to take part in this initiative.

During the event, the Iloilo City Health and Wellness Tourism Council held its official oath-taking, represented by our President/CEO, Dr. Roland L. Uy, while the Technical Working Group was represented by our Sales & Marketing Head.

We also take pride in the participation of Dr. Francis Pasaporte, IM Diabetology and Head of the MIHMCI Panay Comprehensive Diabetes & Metabolic Center, who joined the panel discussion on specialized medical services, showcasing MIHMCI’s commitment to advanced and accessible healthcare.

MIHMCI proudly stands with the City of Iloilo in building a more inclusive, comprehensive, and patient-centered healthcare landscape—one that strengthens the city’s identity as a rising hub for health and wellness tourism.

Together, we rise. Together, we feel great!

Most cases of AMR develop because of the misuse and overuse of antibiotics.
