ANG RABIES AY NAKAMAMATAY NA VIRAL INFECTION

Ano ang Rabies? Ang rabies ay isang malubhang sakit na viral na umaatake sa central nervous system (CNS), na nakakaapekto sa mga tao at hayop. Ang sakit na rabies ay sanhi ng rabies virus (RABV), pangunahing naipapasa sa pamamagitan ng kagat o laway ng mga nahawaang hayop, kadalasang pumapasok sa katawan sa pamamagitan ng kagat, kalmot, gasgas, o pagkakadikit sa mga bukas na sugat.
