Ang rabies ay isang nakamamatay na sakit na dulot ng virus na umaatake sa utak at nervous system ng tao o hayop. Narito ang mga karaniwang sintomas ng rabies sa tao:

⚠️ Mahalaga: Kapag lumabas na ang sintomas ng rabies, halos palaging nakamamatay ito. Kaya dapat agad magpabakuna pagkatapos makagat o makalmot ng hayop.

Yes — rabies kills. 🧠💀
Rabies is a deadly viral disease that attacks the brain and nervous system. Once symptoms appear (like fever, confusion, paralysis, or fear of water), there is no cure — it is almost always fatal. Even small bites or scratches from dogs, cats, or wild animals should be treated immediately.

The good news is:

✅ Rabies is 100% preventable with prompt post-exposure treatment (anti-rabies vaccine and immunoglobulin, if needed).

Narito ang mga mahahalagang paalala mula sa Department of Health (DOH) upang makaiwas sa mala-trangka*ong sakit o Influenza.

Ang flu (maikling tawag sa influenza) ay isang nakakahawang sakit sa paghinga na dulot ng influenza virus. Karaniwang naaapektuhan nito ang ilong, lalamunan, at baga.

💡 Mga Sintomas ng Flu:

* Lagnat o panginginig
* Ubo
* Sakit ng lalamunan
* Sipon o baradong ilong
* Pananakit ng katawan o kalamnan
* Pagkapagod (madaling mapagod)
* Sakit ng ulo
* Minsan, pagsusuka o pagtatae (karaniwan sa mga bata)

⚠️ Mahalaga:

Ang flu ay hindi katulad ng karaniwang sipon. Mas matindi ito at maaaring magdulot ng komplikasyon gaya ng:

-Pneumonia (pulmonya)
-Paglala ng hika o iba pang sakit sa baga
-Pagkakaroon ng dehydration

💉 Pag-iwas:

-Magpabakuna laban sa flu (flu vaccine, kadalasang taon-taon)
-Ugaliing maghugas ng kamay
-Iwasan ang pakikihalubilo kung may sakit
-Kumain ng masustansya at magpahinga nang sapat.
