Week 2 of our Psychological First Aid Training is now underway and weโre going deeper.
PsyCare members once again gathered both ๐ณ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฒ-๐๐ผ-๐ณ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฒ and ๐ผ๐ป๐น๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ, continuing our journey of learning how to become effective and compassionate responders. This week, we strengthened our understanding of how to properly approach, listen, and offer support to individuals experiencing distress.
Beyond the concepts, we practiced being present. We learned how to respond with empathy instead of judgment, calmness instead of panic, and sensitivity instead of assumptions.
Each session reminds us that Psychological First Aid is not about having all the answer, itโs about being there when it matters most.
And we are just getting started.
