MHO Initao reached 4th spot for the overall tally at Misamis Oriental. However, the Department of Health raised the population target that needs to be accomplished. And for the new target, MHO Initao is currently on the 8th spot. The new projected target’s goal is to immunize more young Juans and Juanas.

MHO Initao reached 4th place with a percentage of 78.37%. Healthcare workers continued to vaccinate eligible population throughout the barangays that has huge projected population. They reached this feat with sheer determination and pure hardwork to immunize these individuals.

“One of the Department’s evergreen goals is to protect our children from vaccine preventable diseases and those include measles, rubella, and polio. As a measure to provide them protection, we shall continue to prioritize vaccination through programs such as Chikiting Ligtas 2023: Join the Big Catch Up, Magpabakuna para sa Healthy Pilipinas!, to reach our young Juan and Juanas anywhere in the country. This is also a time to renew public trust in the value of all vaccines and continue to build long-term support and awareness for immunization, as vaccines have proven to be critical in containing or limiting outbreaks of infectious diseases.” underscored DOH Officer-in-Charge Dr. Maria Rosario Singh-Vergeire.

It’s not too late to give your child the best vaccine they can get. “Anti Tipdas” has been effective throughout these years, through advanced technology and rigorous research. In fact your children received this vaccine during their 9th month and 1st year from birth.

Let us all participate during this nationwide immunization and protect these young ones.
