The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) reminds the public that any foreign national who intends to practice a regulated profession in the Philippines must first secure a Special Temporary Permit (STP) from the PRC before engaging in any professional practice.

Under existing Philippine laws and regulations, no foreign professional may practice, whether on a full‑time, part‑time, temporary, or occasional basis, without a valid STP duly issued by the PRC. This requirement applies regardless of the foreign professional’s qualifications, experience, or license in their country of origin.

The public is advised of the following:
1. Only the PRC is authorized to issue Special Temporary Permits.
2. An STP is profession‑specific and is valid only for the authorized period, place, and scope of work indicated therein.
3. Foreign professionals who practice without a valid STP, and any person, institution, or entity that employs, engages, or allows them to practice without such permit, may be held administratively, civilly, and criminally liable under Philippine law.

The PRC urges the public to exercise due diligence and caution and strongly encourages all employers, institutions, and clients to verify the validity of any foreign professional’s STP through the official PRC website or any PRC Regional Office.

For verification, inquiries, or to report any suspected unauthorized practice, please contact the PRC International Affairs Office at iao1@prc.gov.ph.

Underdeveloped “hidden” senses are contributing to…

Sensory Processing issues within a child’s environment.

If you have a child who experiences sensory defensiveness or sensory seeking behavior, their brain may be over or under stimulated with information around them.

There are also other senses that contribute to an immature sensory system when children struggle to do the following:

😔Filter out background noise
😔Fall out of their chair
😔Blurt out unexpectedly or interupt conversations
😔Tap, whistle or make other noises to stay regulated

Kids may be bothered by a number of other sensory issues or need more sensory stimuli to stay calm and keep their bodies regulated.

To learn more about the three “hidden” senses that could also contribute to sensory setbacks, leave a comment here and we’ll send you the link.
