Despite the ongoing typhoon, the Municipal Health Office of Jones and all 42 Barangay Health Stations will remain OPEN to serve the community on September 22, 2025.

Essential health services will continue, including consultation and administration of vaccines in the Animal Bite Treatment Center.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported and participated in our Mobile Blood Letting Activities, "Dugong Jones Marathon," held last June 18, 2025 and August 27, 2025.

For the June 18 activity, we are proud to share that we successfully collected 99 blood donations from the following barangays:

Inaanyayahan ang Lahat sa Mobile Blood Letting Activity!

🩸 “Dugong Alay, Dugtong Buhay” – Dugong Jones Marathon, gaganapin sa Ika-27 ng Agosto 2025 (Miyerkules), mula 8:00 AM hanggang 12:00 NN, sa Brgy Addalam Community Center, Jones, Isabela.

Ang makabuluhang aktibidad na ito ay pinangungunahan ng Municipal Health Office – RHU Jones, sa pamamagitan ng Pamahalaang Bayan ng Jones, Isabela, katuwang ang Southern Isabela Medical Center (SIMC) Blood bank team.

👏 Ang Naayat Cluster (mga Barangay ng Addalam, Arubub, San Jose, San Antonio, Tupax, San Roque, Barangcuag, at Palagao) ang naatasang mangasiwa sa kabuuang paghahanda ng aktibidad—kabilang ang venue, pagkain, meryenda, at sila rin ang mangunguna sa pagbibigay ng blood donors.

🤝 Bukas ang aktibidad na ito sa lahat ng Barangay clusters at mga boluntaryong nais sumuporta at magdala ng karagdagang donors.

Magkaisa tayo para sa sapat at ligtas na suplay ng dugo. Maging bayani—magbigay dugo, magligtas ng buhay!

For a Healthier and more Progressive Jonesian Youth! 💙

The Municipality of Jones, Isabela, through the Municipal Health Office, partnered with the Philippine Obstetrical and Gynecological Society-Region , Committee on Reproductive Health 2 - POGS Laban para kay NANAY at NENE, and the Project on Adolescent Health Issues and Perspectives (AHIP), conduct a lecture seminar on Adolescent Health Issues and Perspectives, today, August 16, 2025 at the Emergency Operations Center, MDRRMC Bldg., Barangay 1, Jones, Isabela. It focused on educating, guiding, and empowering young people regarding reproductive health, responsible decision-making, and overall well-being. This seminar has brought together Sangguniang Kabataan officials, student representatives, and health workers to learn, share, and advocate for the well-being of our young people.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our resource speakers for sharing their expertise:

Family Planning Program - Quarterly Consultative Meeting

FP BHW coordinators from different barangays attended the consultative meeting sponsored by the Public Health Nurse’s Office of the Municipal Health Office of Jones. 41 coordinators were able to review the different family planning methods, see the progress of the program, and identify ways forward for further development and implementation of activities.

RONDA BUNTIS 🤰| NUTRITION MONTH 🍲

The Municipal Health Office conducted its Ronda Buntis today, July 15, 2025, wherein Nutritionally-at-risk Pregnant Women from different barangays of Jones, Isabela were invited for a lecture series and prenatal check-up. The lecture series covered topics on Maternal and Child Health and Nutrition, Maternal Mental Health, Danger Signs of Pregnancy, and other important topics regarding pregnancy. The program was attended by Hon. Suzette D. Sebastian, SB Chair of the Committee on Health and Social Services, who delivered an inspirational message to the participants.
After the lectures, the participants underwent prenatal check-up, selected laboratory tests, and fetal heart rate monitoring. Before the program ended, the pregnant women were also given tokens for their participation.
This activity was conducted as part of the Philippine Nutrition Month Celebration 2025, with the joint efforts of the Nutrition Office and Public Health Nurse’s Office of the Municipal Health Office of Jones, Isabela.
