‎Cauayan City - Pormal nang binuksan ang Super Health Center (SHC) sa bayan ng Jones, Isabela upang palakasin ang serbisyong pangkalusugan at mailapit ang pangunahing gamutan sa mga residente.
‎
‎Ang pasilidad ay resulta ng pagtutulungan ng Department of Health, Southern Isabela Medical Center, Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Isabela, at LGU Jones, na layong mabawasan ang pagsisikip sa mga ospital at mapabuti ang access sa serbisyong medikal lalo na sa mga malalayong lugar.
‎
‎Nag-aalok ang SHC ng laboratory services, botika, lying-in, outpatient care, at PhilHealth services, na nakatuon sa abot-kaya at dekalidad na serbisyong pangkalusugan para sa komunidad.
‎
‎Ayon sa mga opisyal ng LGU at DOH, patuloy na palalawakin ang mga serbisyo ng pasilidad habang binibigyang-diin ang preventive care at pagtutulungan ng pamahalaan at mamamayan para sa mas ligtas at malusog na Jones.

A day of learning, collaboration, and community spirit unfolded as 164 dedicated BHWs gathered for the Barangay Health Workers' General Meeting and Election of Officers. The event was filled with enlightening lectures on Liver Cancer, Viral Hepatitis, and Autism Awareness by Dr. Aira V. Pangilinan, and Goiter Awareness by Marianette Sacatrapuz, RN. Updates on PhilHealth YAKAP procedures were also discussed by Mark Veejay Sergote, RN. The program was gracefully facilitated by Ma. Namnama B. Gumpal, RN, making the day truly inspiring and memorable.

Amidst the sharing of knowledge and experiences, the new set of BHW officers was elected, guided by the expertise and wisdom of Dr. Joanna Michelle U. Casareno, ensuring the continued growth and leadership of our community health heroes.

The Provincial Health Office of Isabela conducted the “Batang Isabeleño, Batang Protektado: A Children’s Month Celebration”, with the Municipality of Jones selected as one of the activity sites for the Health Fair featuring the 7 Healthy Habits last December 2025. This activity aimed to strengthen children’s awareness on proper health practices and promote their overall well-being. A total of 30 daycare children participated in the activity, together with 15 children endorsed by the Jones Pinilisa Council, headed by Ma’am Nympha Montano. Through interactive sessions and demonstrations, the children, together with their parents/guardians, learned essential health practices that they can apply in their daily lives.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Provincial Health Office of Isabela, headed by Dr. Nelson Paguirigan for choosing Jones as one of the beneficiaries of this meaningful event. Our Special thanks and appreciation are given to the National Immunization Program (NIP), headed by Ma’am Chamille Jayne F. Claraval, for the initiative and valuable support in making this activity possible. We would also like to thank the IPHO team for their valuable contributions: Ma’am Anna Kharen T.
