In the quiet town of Juban, Sorsogon- where mornings begin with the sound of tricycles and end with a prayer, a mother traveled hours just to find medicine for her child’s seizures. An elderly man had to wait weeks for treatment after a stroke because the medicines he needed were not available here. Families learned to accept long trips, delayed care and fear that came with uncertainty.
Neuromed Pharmacy was born from those moments. It did not begin with a grand business idea, but as a response to a need. The founder saw how neurological conditions -stroke, epilepsy, parkinson’s disease and dementia- were often misunderstood, under-treated or simply overlooked in provincial areas.
Neuromed started small. Being the first pharmacy to focus on neurological medicines was not easy. There were doubts. There were slow days. There were nights spent worrying if the community would understand the vision. But then came the quiet victories- a patient who regained movement, a family member who said “Buti na lang may gamot kayo.”
Neuromed became more than a pharmacy. It became a place of reassurance. A bridge between specialized care and a small town that deserved it just as much.
To date Neuromed pharmacy has 4 branches serving the small Municipality of Juban, Barcelona, Bulusan and Bacon Sorsogon. It is a proof that meaningful change does not always start in big cities or big buildings. Sometimes, it starts with compassion, courage, and a belief that neurological care should be closer to home-where healing truly begins. ❤️🧠
