It has come to our attention that certain unscrupulous individuals have falsified South Health Clinical Laboratory & Xray results and used these documents as requirements for employment and other purposes.
South Health Medical Corp. strongly condemns and will never tolerate any act of forgery, falsification, or unauthorized use of laboratory and medical documents. We also warn the public against the unauthorized forging of healthcare professionals’ signatures and the falsification, alteration, or manipulation of laboratory results.
Under Philippine law, forgery and falsification of documents — including medical and laboratory records — are serious criminal offenses punishable under the Revised Penal Code:
📌 Article 171 (Falsification by Public Officer/Employee) — Penalizes any person in authority who, taking advantage of their position, counterfeits or imitates handwriting or signatures, or alters documents with intent to deceive.
📌 Article 172 (Falsification by Private Individuals) — Applies to private individuals who commit forgery or knowingly use falsified documents, including medical certificates and laboratory results.
⚠️ Examples of punishable acts include:
• Forging or imitating a healthcare professional’s signature
• Altering or fabricating laboratory test results
• Using or presenting falsified healthcare documents for employment or other purposes
These illegal acts undermine public health, compromise patient safety, and erode trust in the medical system.
