Asia Pacific Medical Center–Aklan proudly supported a Medical Mission for the indigenous Ati community on March 14 at Ati Village, Boracay, Malay, Aklan, through its Platinum Sponsorship as part of the hospital’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, facilitated by JCI Aklan Kalantiao.

The Ati are among the earliest inhabitants of Boracay, carrying a rich cultural heritage deeply woven into the island’s history. While Boracay is globally known as one of the world’s most beautiful tourist destinations, many members of the Ati community still face health challenges and limited access to preventive care and regular medical check-ups.

In response, volunteer doctors together with the Nursing Service Department of APMC–Aklan generously dedicated their time and expertise to provide medical consultations, health education, and the distribution of medicines, vitamins, and deworming treatments for children.
