Asia Pacific Medical Center (APMC)-Aklan successfully held its first Nursing Assembly Meeting with the theme “Breaking Barriers,” highlighting a major milestone for the hospital’s nursing team. Organized by Chief Nurse Sheila A. Mercurio, MN, RN, together with Assistant Chief Nursing Officers Michelle Q. Ligaya, MAN, RN, and Chris C. Tejada, MAN, RN, the assembly focused on reinforcing hospital policies, reviewing incident reports, and sharing strategies to improve work performance. Nurses were also encouraged to enhance professional etiquette, soft skills, and workplace behavior to provide patient-centered care aligned with the hospital’s standards.
