Kudos to our outstanding SGC student pharmacists, Wency Uriel Reyes, Kiana Marie Ascura, Karen Mae Malacad, Francis Joseph Gabinete, and Irish Angela Patron, mentored by Sir Laurence Tapican, RPh, and facilitated by Ma’am Jennica Marie Valencia, RPh.

Among hundreds of participants, their research stood out and secured a spot in the Top 10 Grand Finalists of the 5th International Research Competition organized by the Institute of Industry and Academic Research.

This achievement is already a significant win for the SGC community. Best of luck in the Grand Finals, continue to shine and bring honor to the Gabrielian community.

We are beyond proud to announce that our very own 1st year student, Gabriel Zachary Cuales won 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 in the 𝟐𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐳 – Aklan Provincial Elimination held last October 24, 2025, at Meding’s Pavilion, Kalibo, Aklan! 🧮📊

This year’s competition brought together 27 participants from 9 schools in Aklan for a “𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤!”

Gabriel, along with fellow SGC-SOP participants Richelle Masin and Cassyfea Garino, showcased exceptional skill and dedication — all under the guidance of their mentor, Ms. Sheryl A. Silan, RPh. 💙
