A courtesy and coordination meeting was conducted with Mayor Shimonette P. Francisco at the Municipality of New Washington, Aklan, on October 22, 2025. 😊

October 22, 2025, the PRC Aklan Chapter Administrator Ms. Mary Joe Galeon, joined the Barangay Poblacion Sangguniang Bayan (SB) members Committee on Health, for a Committee Hearing focused on the drafting of an ordinance aims to formally establish the life-saving Blood Samaritan Program in the barangay. Present at the session were, SB Errol Fulgencio, SB Ken Fegarido, SB Erwin Oquendo, SB Reygie Bongabong, and SB Lorence Miraflores. 😍

This initiative underscores the commitment of Barangay Poblacion to community health and emergency preparedness. 🎉

On October 21, 2025, PRC Aklan Board of Director, Dr. Floriphez L. Yerro and Chapter Administrator, Ms. Mary Joe Galeon, conducted a courtesy meeting with Mayor Allan Dagohoy of the Municipality of Buruanga, to secure support on the plan to fully implement the Red Cross 143 volunteer network, ensuring that every barangay has trained first responders. 💥

Additionally, they sought the Mayor’s commitment to bolstering the Blood Samaritan Program, a vital effort to ensure the immediate availability of safe blood for those in need. 🎊
