The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) will de-energize its transmission facilities to conduct maintenance activity.

To avoid untoward incident that may happen and for safety of their line crew, power will be interrupted on this schedule.

The AKELCO Area Operations Department with its Kalibo Substation will be implementing a maintenance clearing activity under the coverage area of AKELCO. To avoid untoward incident that may happen and for safety of our line workers, power will be interrupted.

Scheduled maintenance activities are being conducted to ensure reliable and safe electric service. Power restoration may be completed earlier than announced.

Scheduled power interruption in parts of Aklan Province on Saturday, 14 June 2025.

Time: 6:00AM-6:00PM

Affected: AKELCO (Ibajay, Lezo, Andagao & Altavas Substations) & OEPGC Timbaban Hydro

Reason: Transmission Line correction works along the Nabas-Sapian 69kV line

Specific affected areas are determined by the Electric Cooperative. NGCP will exert all efforts to restore power earlier or as scheduled.
