KAPALONG, Davao del Norte — Mipahigayon ang Municipal Health Office (MHO) ubos sa Timbol–Timbol Administration ug Caravan of Health Services didto sa Sitio Balulon, Barangay Gupitan niadtong Oktubre 13–16, 2025.

Gitambongan ang maong kalihokan nila Doctor to the Barrio Dra. Sofia Hanan Interino, uban ang mga personahe sa Rural Health Unit (RHU) of Kapalong nga sila Nurse Irwin Joseph Batibut uban ang mga staff niini, mga nurse ug midwife gikan sa RHU Kapalong ug Department of Health – Human Resources for Health (DOH-HRH), ug mga Barangay Health Workers (BHW).

Ang maong kalihokan nagtumong sa pagpaduol sa serbisyong medikal ug panglawas ngadto sa mga lumolupyo sa hilit nga lugar sa lungsod sama sa Sitio Balulon, nga kapin lima ka oras ang baktason gikan sa Sitio Mangkay. Lakip sa maong health caravan ang medical consultation, immunization, health education, ug preventive care alang sa mga residente sa maong sitio.

Miuban usab sa maong caravan ang mga personahe sa Municipal Civil Registrar’s Office (MCRO) aron ipanghatag ang mga birth certificate sa mga lumolupyo sa Sitio Balulon, isip kabahin sa serbisyo publiko nga gipaduol sa katawhan.

Subay kini sa mga prayoridad sa Timbol–Timbol Administration nga mas mapalig-on ang patas, dekalidad, ug accessible nga serbisyong panglawas ug medikal, bisan pa sa pinakalayo nga dapit sa lungsod, para masiguro nga ang tanang Kapalongan
makadawat niini.

Usa ang pagtaas sa kaso sa dengue sa munisipalidad ang gituki sa gipahigayon nga meeting sa Local Health Board (LHB) sa lokal nga panggamhanan sa Kapalong, adlawng Biyernes, Oktubre 17, 2025, sa Mayor’s Office Conference Room.

Ang maong meeting gipangulohan ni Mayor Edgardo L. Timbol uban sila Municipal Health Officer Dr. Louelyn Exala ug ubang miyembro sa health board.

Matod pa sa report ni Dr. Exala, Brgy. Gabuyan ang hotspot area sa kaso sa dengue diin walo ang natala nga kaso sa nilabay nga bulan ug usa ka 9-anyos nga batang babaye ang namatay. Gani, base sa report, ang kaso sa dengue misaka na hangtod sa epidemic threshold.

Isip tubag niini, nagpahigayon og mga interbensyon ang munisipalidad sama sa Barangay Clean-up, Dengue Surveillance, Information and Education Campaigns, ug uban pang inisyatibo aron mapugngan ang pagsaka sa kaso. Pinaagi niini, gilauman nga sa mga mosunod nga bulan, moubos na ang ihap sa mga kaso sa dengue.

Dugang pa, mihatag usab og update ang mga miyembro sa LHB kalabot sa PhilHealth reports sama sa accreditation ug mga resolusyon, ingon man sa mga isyu ug concerns sa Barangay Health Workers (BHW).

Sa kataposan, gipasiugda ni Mayor Timbol ang importansya sa kooperasyon sa tanan aron mapadayon ang kahimsog ug kaluwasan sa munisipalidad, ilabi na sa panahon nga nagpadayon ang hulga sa dengue ug uban pang balatian.

Vitamin A supplementation is the public health strategy of providing high-dose vitamin A capsules to children and sometimes postpartum women to prevent vitamin A deficiency (VAD) — a major cause of blindness, weakened immunity, and increased risk of infection and death, especially among children in developing countries.

Infants 6–11 months should be given 100,000 IU once,
Children 12–59 months should be given 200,000 IU every 6 months and
Postpartum mothers (within 1 month after delivery) 200,000 IU, given only once.

Karong Adlawa October 15, 2025 gisugdan na ang SBI sa Semong Elementary School sa tanang Grade 1 lalake ug babae ug Grade 4 alang sa mga babae na kining tanan naay mga pagtugot sa ginikanan.

Kini na kalihukan naga tumong sa mas lig-on na panglawas sa atong mga kabataan sa atong barangay.

Mapasalamaton usab kita sa atong mga maabtikong Health Team sa barangay pinaagi ni Kag. Garnet Donato Com.on Health Chairman ug sa dakong suporta sa Kapalong Municipal Health Office sa pagpanguna sa atong Mayor Edgardo Lingad Timbol ug Kapitan Vince Jan Louie Doriman uban sa tibuok Konseho sa barangay sa mainiton na pagdawat sa programa.

An Executive Order will be issued shortly, as the Rapid Disaster Assessment and Needs Analysis (RDNA) Team is still evaluating the impact of the recent earthquake in the municipality.

Private companies and institutions may decide on work suspension at the discretion of the management.

✨ This program aims to protect our school children from vaccine-preventable diseases by providing FREE and SAFE immunization right in their schools.

Grade 1, Grade 4 Female and Grade 7 students, With parental consent
