Following yesterday’s advisory on the continuous heavy rains, the Local Government Unit of Lanuza immediately mobilized efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of our people. From advising residents in vulnerable areas to conduct preemptive evacuation, to holding an emergency meeting and activating the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and Incident Management Team (IMT), our teams worked tirelessly to respond quickly and efficiently.

Continuous monitoring of the situation, ensuring the safety of evacuees, conducting clearing operations, and distributing family food packs were among the priority actions carried out to assist our affected residents.

Kining mga dali ug organisadong lihok resulta sa mga leksyon nga atong nakat-unan gikan sa miaging Bagyong Basyang. Busa, sa matag higayon nga adunay opisyal nga advisory o pahibalo gikan sa lokal nga panggamhanan, gina-awhag ang tanan nga mamati, magpabiling alerto, ug mosunod sa mga panudlo, ilabi na kung adunay pahimangno sa pag-evacuate o uban pang lakang alang sa kaluwasan. Ang kooperasyon ug pagtinabangay sa matag usa maoy dakong tabang aron malikayan ang peligro ug masiguro ang kaluwasan sa atong mga komunidad.

📢 ADVISORY | LIFTING OF SUSPENSION OF WORK 📢

The Local Government Unit of Lanuza hereby announces the lifting of the suspension of work in all public and private establishments, effective today, March 10, 2026, following the improvement of weather conditions in the municipality.

All employees are advised to resume normal operations. However, Residents and employees are still encouraged to remain cautious and prioritize safety, especially in areas previously affected by flooding and landslides. 🙏⛑️

We immediately conducted an emergency meeting with concerned offices to closely assess the current situation of continous raining and strengthen our response measures.

During the meeting, updates were discussed regarding the conditions in vulnerable areas, particularly in Brgy. Sibahay and Brgy. Nurcia that was previously affected by the recent calamity. We also reviewed our ongoing evacuation efforts, response strategies, and the necessary interventions to ensure the safety and welfare of our people.

We encourage everyone to remain vigilant, follow official advisories, and cooperate with our response teams, especially for those in flood-prone and landslide-prone areas. MANDATORY EVACUATION IS HEREBY IMPOSED NOT LATER THAN THIS AFTERNOON TO ENSURE SAFETYNESS OF EVERYONE.🙏🤍🌧️☔️

Ang Lokal nga Panggamhanan sa Lanuza nag-awhag sa tanang residente, labi na sa mga lugar nga apektado sa miaging kalamidad, nga magpabiling alerto ug pagahimuon na gayud ang pagbalhin o pag-evacuate sa mga evacuation centers tungod sa padayon nga pag-ulan nga mahimong hinungdan sa pagbaha ug pagdahili sa yuta sa pipila ka mga lugar.

Alang sa seguridad sa mga komunidad, gikinahanglan na nga mag-evacuate ang mga residente, ilabi na kadtong nagpuyo sa Brgy. Nurcia, Brgy. Sibahay nga duol sa suba, baybayon, ug mga landslide-prone areas.

Kini nga abiso usa ka pahimagno kanatong tanan nga tungod sa nahitabo nga miaging bagyo, kinahanglan kita magpabiling andam ug mamati sa mga opisyal nga pahibalo ug impormasyon bisan unsang oras, ilabi na karon nga panahon, aron masiguro ang kaluwasan sa matag usa.

Ang LGU pinaagi sa MDRRMO ug uban pang mga opisina padayon nga nagmonitor sa kahimtangan sa panahon ug andam sa paghatag og tabang sa mga pamilya nga apektado.

Palihug magtinabangay ug sundon ang mga pahimangno sa atong lokal nga panggamhanan. Ang kaluwasan sa matag Lanuzanhon mao ang atong unang prayoridad.🙏

All residents are advised to remain vigilant, monitor updates from the Local Government Unit, and follow safety precautions especially in areas prone to flooding and landslides.

Kagahapon, naghiusa ang mga empleyado sa LGU, mga volunteers, ug mga kauban sa lain-laing opisina sa pag-apil sa 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻-𝘂𝗽 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗛𝗔𝗧𝗔𝗪), usa ka kalihokan nga nagpakita sa atong determinasyon sa pagbangon ug pagpadayon sa pag-atiman sa atong palibot.

Padayon ta sa pagtinabangay aron maibalik ug mapadayon ang usa ka mas limpyo, mas berde, ug mas himsog nga Lanuza. Sa panaghiusa ug pagkugi sa matag Lanuzanhon, makabangon kita ug mas molambo pa.

Sa atong padayon nga pag-atiman sa atong mga kababayan nga anaa sa evacuation center, nadawat nato ang dugang nga essential ug food packs gikan kang Senator B**g Go. Dako kaayo kini’g tabang aron masiguro nga adunay igo nga pagkaon ug panginahanglanon ang matag pamilya.

Dugang pa niini, naghatag usab og portable LPG stove sila Mr. Allan ug Mrs. Percy Lim—usa ka mahinungdanong donasyon nga makatabang sa atong mga evacuees sa pag-andam sa ilang pagkaon bisan pa sa kahimtang nga ilang giatubang karon.

Sa matag ayuda ug sa matag kalan nga gihatag, makita nato ang tinuod nga espiritu sa pagtinabangay ug malasakit. Kini nga mga panabang dili lamang materyal nga butang, kundili simbolo sa paglaum, pag-amuma, ug panaghiusa.

Quality healthcare reached our community as Americares Philippines successfully conducted a Medical Mission in Brgy. Sibahay in partnership with our Rural Health Unit of Lanuza.

Free medical consultations, essential medicines, and health support services were provided to our residents—especially to families affected by recent calamity. This initiative also strengthens our ongoing efforts to ensure that no Lanuzanhon is left behind when it comes to access to basic health services.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Americares Philippines for their continued commitment to disaster response and community health, and to our dedicated health workers and volunteers who made this activity possible.
