In preparation for the highly anticipated 23rd Surfing Festival 2025, we had a coordination meeting with our stall vendors and existing business establishments to ensure a smooth and organized services to our clients & guests.

We addressed important reminders on compliance, permits, and financial protocols through the guidance of BIR, Municipal Treasurer and Accounting Office to assist our local entrepreneurs in operating responsibly throughout the event.

Thank you to all the vendors for your cooperation and commitment to make this festival not just a celebration of waves but a showcase of local unity and economic vibrancy. 🌊💼

I personally welcomed the courteous visit of MCSSP Team Charlie Company of the 36th Infantry Battalion, Philippine Army, led by Major Sandico D Puertas Jr (INF) PA and 2Lt. Christian D Bucaling (CE), PA.

They were joined by Tribal Chieftain Bae Virgilia T. Juagpao and Datu Rosalino Montenegro, the IPMR of Barangay Sibahay. We reviewed areas for collaboration in maintaining peace and order, community safety, and ongoing support for our Indigenous Peoples' cultural preservation and local development efforts.

I had the opportunity to attend the opening session of the two-day Festival Management Training alongside our resource speakers, visitors, and participants from different sectors. This program is an important step toward strengthening our community's ability to plan meaningful, culturally rich, and well-coordinated festivals that promote local identity and sustainable tourism. It is also intended in preparing the community for an Authentic Lanuza Hymn & Dance Steps for the " Sajaw sa Bayod" .
