The hospital was first established in 1937 by Dr. Francisco R. Joseph Hospital. It was the very first Private Hospital in Ilocos Norte. It is an accredited Primary Healthcare Facility category hospital by the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) and the Department of Health (DOH), with Five (5) private rooms, a female ward, male ward and a Pediatric ward. Subspecialty clinics located within the hospital : Obstetrics and Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, Family Medicine sub-clinics with visiting consultants in the different fields of Medicine. The hospital is also accredited with a Level 2 category Diagnostic Laboratory Division. The outpatient division caters to patients seven (7) days a week (Monday to Sunday) and the Emergency Department 7 days a week, 24 hours. Medical Director : Antonio A. Medical Administrator: Joni L.
