📢 Earthquake Drill 2025 | Strengthening Preparedness and Safety
Christ the King Medical Center Unihealth Las Piñas successfully conducted its Earthquake Drill last November 25, 2025, in partnership with the Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Office (DRRMO) of Las Piñas City.
This activity aims to enhance our hospital’s readiness, reinforce proper emergency response procedures, and ensure that all staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed during seismic events. Through guided simulations, safety briefings, and hands-on demonstrations, our team was able to practice coordinated evacuation, patient safety protocols, and rapid response techniques.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the Las Piñas DRRMO team for their expertise and continuous support in promoting a culture of preparedness. Their guidance plays a vital role in helping us maintain a safe environment for our patients, employees, and the entire CTKMC-ULP.

🍏 Tamang Impormasyon sa Diabetes: Pag-unawa at Pag-iwas sa Sakit na ito
Marami pa ring maling akala tungkol sa diabetes na maaaring makaapekto sa kalusugan at pang-araw-araw na pamumuhay. Sa Health Talk na ito, ipapaliwanag ni Dr. Margarita Tan (Internist and IM Endocrinologist) ang mga pangunahing kaalaman tungkol sa diabetes—mula sa sanhi, sintomas, tamang pamumuhay, hanggang sa epektibong pamamahala ng blood sugar.
Ang video na ito ay puno ng mahahalagang impormasyon ngunit madaling sundan—mainam para sa mga pasyente, pamilya, tagapag-alaga, at health workers na nais mas mapalalim ang kaalaman sa tamang pangangalaga laban sa diabetes.

Christ the King Medical Center - Unihealth Las Pinas is a 20-bed capacity Level 1 Hospital located at 130 Real St. Pamplona 1, Las Pinas City, along the National Road (Alabang-Zapote Road), and less than a kilometer away from the Zapote Junction. It stands on a 600-square meter lot.
In 1982, it started as a small clinic, Trinidad Clinic, which later on became Trinidad Lying-in and Maternity Clinic in 1994. Due to the increasing demand, a 3-storey hospital was constructed in 1998 under a family-owned corporation. It was named as Christ the King Maternity and Lying-in Hospital after the parish church’s name, Christ the King. It was providing healthcare services to Obstetrics and Gynecologic patients only. In May 2006, it opened its doors to other services like Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Orthopedic and General Surgery, ENT, Ophthalmology, Endocrinology, Anesthesiology, Dermatology, Urology, Diabetology, Sonology and Radiology, and became Christ the King General Hospital.
Last June 2016, the hospital was under a new administration. Major renovations were done on the old building. Future plans of expansion is on the pipeline as well as upgrading its medical equipment and services.
The hospital is a 3-storey building housing 20 beds consisting of the following:
OB ward with 5 beds
Medical ward with 5 beds
Pediatric ward with 3 beds
1 Semi-private room with 2 beds
4 Private rooms
1 Suite room
The out-patient department is located on the ground floor.
Being primarily a private hospital, it caters to classes A-D income bracket. It offers both consultation services and in-patient management for all ages and gender without prejudice to race and religion.
