Last December 3, 2025, as we prepared to close out the year, we chose to Let It Go! ❄️🏰✨

Surrounded by the magic of Disney and the sparkle of Gold, this was our Stress-Free Edition: a time to laugh freely, be fully present, and enjoy each other without the weight of roles or responsibilities. It was a gathering for the Mind Care Center family grounded in connection, appreciation, and ease. 🤍

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our ever-supportive President, Lt. Col. Richard Antonio Tamayo, and the Prime Mover of Mind Care Center, Lt. Col. Hemilyn Tamayo, for graciously treating us to this celebration and making this moment of rest possible. 🩷🩵

PasKo Day 7 - Giving Day 🎁🎄

Celebrating the hands that help us serve!

We held a heartfelt gift-giving activity, "Gift of Golden Hearts," for our support staff to acknowledge their invaluable contributions to our daily hospital operations. It was a moment to share gifts and gratitude with the team members who work tirelessly behind the scenes.

We also appreciate the helping hands from the Emergency Department and Dietary Department who assisted in packing these gift bags. Your support made the preparation much lighter!

We extend our deepest gratitude to our sponsor, the Joint Committee of Perpetual Help Medical Center, for its continuous generosity since 2023, and to its current President, Ms. Jasmin Freal, for her support.

PasKo Day 6 - Love Day 💌

Sharing Love, One Card at a Time!

In collaboration with Medical Records and the Health Specialty Center and Diagnostic Services (HSCDS), we celebrated Love Day with a roaming DIY Christmas Card Box.

We went around the hospital to give employees a chance to write holiday cards for their families and colleagues. Our interns also used the materials to craft special handmade cards, which were distributed to our patients during the Harana. 🎶

Simple gestures of love make the season truly bright. ✨

Looking back at a highlight from October!

Nurses play a vital role in society, often providing selfless care for those in need.

During the Nurses Week celebration, Chief Psychologist Prof. Yeng Gatchalian gave an insightful (and relaxing!) talk titled, “From Compassion to Resilience… Nurturing the Mind for Sustainable Care.”

From a demo on bioenergetic exercise to calming mindfulness techniques, we were reminded that self-love is not selfish—it’s essential. 🌻

Spreading the Golden Glow of Care!

In collaboration with the Pharmacy Department and the Heart and Vascular Institute, we celebrated the occasion with the Golden CARE Ribbons.

We made rounds throughout the hospital to share heartfelt messages of recognition.

To our healthcare heroes: thank you for everything you do! Your service is truly golden. 💛

In honor of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, our Senior Psychometrician, Mr. Angelo Lade, led a compassionate and insightful discussion at the DALTA JONELTA Foundation, Inc.

Mr. Lade reminded us that every person holds unique value and that dignity, understanding, and equal opportunity are rights we must all uphold. Together, let’s continue to advocate for a more inclusive and empowered community! 🤝💙

LOOK: The PAP LGBT Psychology Special Interest Group (SIG) met with Usec. Atty. Elen Pasion, Chairperson of the DSWD Special Committee on Lgbtqia+ Affairs, and Asec. Cynthia Kim, today, December 16, 2025, at the DSWD Central Office, Quezon City.🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

The PAP LGBT Psychology SIG was represented by Chairperson Mx. Rolf Gian Marcos, former Chairperson Mx. Riyan Portuguez, founding convenor Prof. Yeng Gatchalian, and SIG member Ms. Grace Santillan.

During the meeting, potential areas for collaboration were explored, particularly initiatives aimed at strengthening mental health support for the LGBTQ+ community.🌈
